20190515 emily wells shot some video from doug fir in portland. it was the first time doing a ‘solo’ performance. it was a nerve racking and amazing experience. i based the set on meditation and simplistic beats. everything being filtered and sidechained. i lived in pdx in 2002-2004 and didn’t have a great experience but 15 years later i really loved portland for the first time..

i do mostly electronic music through the lens of a cellist.  i compose classically and folklorically for the acoustic cello too and license those tracks exclusively on music bed.  check them out here!
